Candidate profiles on the ballot

Voters can now read about a candidate without leaving their ballot. A Candidate Info link sits beside every candidate - opening it shows their photo, statement and party details over the ballot, and closing it puts the voter back exactly where they were, with their selections untouched.

Now you can

  • Answer "who are these people?" at the moment it matters. For most voters the ballot is the first time they meet the candidates. The answer is now one tap away instead of somewhere else entirely.

  • Stop losing voters who go looking. Nobody has to leave the ballot, find the candidate information elsewhere, and start their vote again.

  • Put candidate statements in front of voters who will actually read them. Candidates write them; this is the first time most voters see them at the point of deciding.

  • Run it on the profiles you already collect. Photos and statements already on the candidate record appear automatically, so there is nothing extra to set up.

Get Started

Candidate profiles are available now in the Elections module. Open your election, tick Candidate Profiles on the Ballot under Advanced Options, and save. It can be switched on at any time, including for an election that is already running.
