New & Enhanced Form Question Types

We’re excited to introduce three more Question Types in the Rubric Form Builder: Document Picker, Certificate Picker and Multi Step Application Selector. We've also expanded the existing Form Submission Picker, which is now available within club forms. These new fields allow forms to directly reference documents and certificates already issued through the platform and also select any previous submitted forms, reducing manual uploads and improving submission accuracy.
Document Picker
The Document Picker allows students to select from documents that have been issued to them through Rubric directly within a form submission.
Instead of manually uploading files or entering document details, students can simply choose from their existing records stored on the platform. This makes it easier to reference official documents, submitted records, or previously issued materials within workflows and applications.

Certificate Picker
The Certificate Picker allows students to select certificates that have been issued to them through the Rubric Certificate Generator.
This makes it easy to reference verified certificates directly within forms without requiring students to manually upload proof or re-enter certificate information.

Multi-Step Application Submission Picker
The Multi-Step Application Submission Picker allows users to reference and select submissions from Grouped Forms directly within a form submission.
Similar to the Form Submission Picker, this question type enables users to link existing submissions rather than manually re-entering information. However, it is specifically designed for Grouped Forms.

Form Submission Picker
The Form Submission Picker is now available within club forms.
This enhancement extends the existing Form Submission Picker functionality, allowing clubs to reference and select existing form submissions directly within their own forms, enabling more connected workflows and reducing manual data entry.

By expanding how forms can reference existing records across Rubric, these enhancements help reduce duplicate data entry, improve data accuracy, and create more connected workflows for students, clubs, and administrators alike.
Whether you're referencing documents, certificates, previous form submissions, or submissions from grouped forms, these new and enhanced question types make it easier than ever to build smarter forms within Rubric.
Stay tuned for more feature releases coming soon.
