Changing the Log-In Interface

Hello,

Many of our students (specifically executives) often get confused when it comes to the different log-in portals: Clubs Portal, Students Portal, Admins Portal. This leads to a lot of replicated student groups being made.

Rather than having a drop-down menu, could we instead have it be an interactive question? Something along the lines of…

  1. Login Here!

  2. Are you logging in as…

    1. A student/executive member?

    2. A club leader?

    3. A union admin?

From there, people can then be directed to the appropriate portal as normal. I feel like this kind of distinction, rather than “student” or “club”, will give a lot of clarity.

Thank you for your consideration.

      Hi Rubric,

Thanks for the follow-up, but I just checked the hellorubric.com platform and the login interface is still the same. Please see below:

To specify, the issue lays in the Clubs versus Students differentiation. A lot of student executives will click “Clubs” (as it pertains to them) and then try to login with their student email because they believe they’re doing work on the ‘clubs’ behalf.

So there are 2 workflows- if they sign in from https://campus.hellorubric.com, they can sign into any club they are an exec from from the menu on the top left.

If they sign in from https://portal.hellorubric.com, they can choose to sign in using their personal account, or from their club email address. This is the change we added, which was not previously there

This would be a dream. Please consider further.
