Create auto-calculations in a form based on user-inputted quantity

I want to allow users to input a quantity for an item on a form, and have the form automatically multiply that quantity by a set price to calculate a subtotal for that item. At the end of the form, I need all the subtotals for the different items they are requesting to be summed up to charge them a final, total amount. This is for an upcoming event application form.
