Discount codes for event tickets

Feature Requests
I want to be able to add discount codes for event ticket sales (specifically for union-delivered courses), not just merchandise. This would allow us to offer specific discounts to students for courses without relying solely on member-only ticket types or tiered pricing.

I haven’t personally used the event and ticketing functions, however I did recall reading something that I assumed could be used for this purpose.

On this help centre page it mentions having the option to set a password on a particular ticket type, which to me seems to work a similar way to how a discount code would work?

I may be totally wrong, so apologies if this doesn’t help!

Consistently having clubs ask for discount codes to be a feature - similar to TryBooking, Humanitix etc.

When having tickets for sale, clubs don’t always want the discounted tickets being visible to members (e.g. discounted tickets for Sober Monitors, Trip Leaders etc).
