Group Chats For Student Groups

One of the things all of our groups use is communication platforms - things like Gmail (for professional emails), Zoom or Discord, and even WhatsApp, which allows different types of cohorts within clubs to send messages back and forth. Such as executive teams for confidential information, members responding to availability for proposed event times, and just general community bonding.

If there were a Chat Room feature, allowing both digital calls and digital messages to be logged and exchanged (not just mass-sent to members without the ability to respond, as I know the campaign feature does this), students would use it indefinitely. Ideally, if it could be linked to Google, as all of our students have these emails provided to them by the University, it would be most beneficial for ease of access.

I think the platform would really benefit if it could incorporate this on the student-facing browser, or even the app. It would allow student groups to see Rubric as the true all-in-one platform, rather than offshoring some of their needs to other non-related platforms.
