Include Org Email and External Website in Link In Bio Page

Hello! Right now on clubs’ Link In Bio pages, they have the option to include external links, but this does not include a link to an external website they may have. We would like this to be included as many of our clubs have external sites managed by the university that they should be able to link.

Additionally, the button to email a club’s organization email does not always open the system mail application, and hovering over it does not show the mailto: link. We would like the email address to be visible in plaintext so folks can copy-paste it into their preferred mail application to contact groups more easily.

    All links added to the link in bio description are hyperlinked. In this way, they can add any links they would like to


    Regarding the emails, that is actually done on purpose, as adding plain-text email addresses often become the targets for spammers. Whilst they can add any links to the link-in-bio description, we use javascript to obfuscate the email links on the icons. If you can share more details about it not working, I’d be happy to look at it for you

      Hi folks! Sorry for the late followup. Regarding links being hyperlinked, I fear some groups will have long URLs to include and it would just be cleaner to have a designated button.

      For the email issue, I cannot replicate this problem as I have a mail client on my device, so when I click the mail icon, it opens a new window to compose an email. But I have been told by staff in other areas that nothing happens for them when they click the mail icon. Sorry I cannot be of more help on this front!
