A benefit that would be with this is that when updating details of an event, such as adding a design or altering a specific aspect, rather than having to go through each event and wait for each of them to be reapproved, they can be designated for regular events.

As an aside, potentially allow groups on a form to outline multiple dates an event is hosted on. Similar to how Google Calendar allows you to set custom dates, with “ends on” or “after (x) amount of weeks”.
