Sign into event via QR code

One of the key problems my society has with rubric is it requires people/execs to constantly man the entrance to scan tickets. It would be really nice if attendees could sign in themselves by scanning a QR code that is onsite. That way low stakes events like optionally paid or free events can operate on limited people much more effectively.
