View more case summary details in Case Management table

Some of our staff have Case Management has a key responsibility so they regularly have multiple cases they are investigating at the same time.

After migrating from our previous Case Management setup to Rubric, our case officers are finding it challenging navigate between cases as there is very little information shown on the Case Management table, so they need to open up each one in order to find the one they’re looking for.

Adding more columns to the Case Management Table (https://admin.hellorubric.com/casemanagement) would allow their whole process to be kept to Rubric rather than having to keep a separate cheat sheet to help them navigate to the right submission.

This will also assist with looking back at past cases, which we’ve not had to do much yet. When we do, it’s going to be quite a task because we’ll have a long list of cases and no way of understanding their contents without opening each one.

For us, the following would be incredibly helpful

  • Brief report summary - in our setup, each of our Case Management forms has this as a field for staff to give a very brief summary so that staff can get an overview of the case instead of reading through the whole submission.

  • Case Actions/Updates - similar to Brief report summary, however this is an Office Use Only long text field we have on each of our Case Management forms. Since the contents of this field would be quite long, we would be happy with just the first x characters to be displayed in the table

  • Outcome Summary

    • Similar to Brief report summary, each of our Case Management forms has an office use only field with this name for staff to give a quick overview of the outcome.

  • Days to complete

    • This is a calculated field looking at the number of days between the submission and the case being closed. Is should be empty when the case is not yet closed.'

  • Date closed
