Public iCal

A feature that I think many people could benefit from would be a public iCal that you could subscribe to for a club. That way if a club was to have an event it would apear in your calendar. Athough i could see this getting quite anoying if you had to sign up to 10 diferent clubs event calendars individualy. If there was a way for the client / member to make one link to subscribe too, and any clubs they elect would apear on this calendar would be an amazing feature to keep on top of all events. Thanks, RAMSOC UNSW.

Feature Requests

Allow groups to hold private events

When events approvals by the Union/University are required, all events are subsequently publicly advertised on the club events listing. Some groups want to host events that are private to their members and do not want the event publicly advertised. There are sometime safety concerns that require event details (eg time, location) to be kept private. Please create a way for groups to decide if an event should be publicly advertised or not.

Feature Requests

Recurring Events

I would love to easily create recurring events (i.e. Jiu Jitsu class every Tuesday night)

Resubmission Dates

Hello, We would love an ability to see the “date submitted” and the “date resubmitted” as two separate tags. As our union prioritizes older registrations > resubmissions (per our deadline policies) and resubmissions maintain their initial submission date and therefore go to the top of the queue. Thank you.

Feature Requests

Description Formatting

The “About” section doesn’t currently preserve new lines/line breaks in both club descriptions and event descriptions, which can make longer descriptions a bit harder to read. Would it be possible to support basic formatting like line breaks? I think it would make a big difference for readability and overall presentation.

Changing the Log-In Interface

Hello, Many of our students (specifically executives) often get confused when it comes to the different log-in portals: Clubs Portal, Students Portal, Admins Portal. This leads to a lot of replicated student groups being made. Rather than having a drop-down menu, could we instead have it be an interactive question? Something along the lines of… Login Here! Are you logging in as… A student/executive member? A club leader? A union admin? From there, people can then be directed to the appropriate portal as normal. I feel like this kind of distinction, rather than “student” or “club”, will give a lot of clarity. Thank you for your consideration.

AND/OR statements in conditional logic

When creating a form, there are some questions that can be asked in multiple circumstances, but should not always be asked. For example, we ask for a Safe Food Handling Certificate for events on campus that are serving or cooking food, and also for events off campus that involve cooking food (but not serving as this is generally through a venue). What would be ideal is if I could set up conditional logic for this question to be shown when 1 of 2 scenarios occurs - on campus = yes AND food at the event = yes OR club cooking food = yes OR off campus = yes AND club cooking food = yes The current options for conditional logic of ‘All’ or ‘Any’ of the criteria is not complex enough to fit this scenario, and the only workaround I can find is to create the question twice with different conditional logic to suit each scenario.

Feature Requests

Ability for unions to customise/ add / subtract data columns within the club mgmt, club executive, user database and form manager views.

When looking at different views such as club mgmt, club executives etc it would be good to have the ability to add and take away columns that show data for each line. E.g. being able to easily add a column to the club mgmt view that says Total Active Members to sit alongside the column that already says Members 2025. In the past when we require visibility on a specific data point e.g. approval date (for forms), bank account details (club mgmt view) or DOB (for user database) we request this from Rubric and they oblidge. The ability to expore all possible data points would be ideal and limit our need to request directly from Rubric. This is perhaps the most important feature request that would assist UNSA's overall startegic vision as it allows for customisable data analytics that we would use to monitor the success of our programs.

Filtering Submitted Forms - Totals

Hello, I would love a feature that totalled the number of different submissions per form (i.e. if it’s a two step-process, you breakdown from “Total Submissions” into “Step One - Submissions” and “Step Two - Submissions"). For all kinds of forms - Union Affiliation, Union Forms, Event Forms, etc. This would help with statistics, especially for unions that have hundreds of groups submitting hundreds of forms on a weekly basis.

Manual affiliation expiry dates + Show expiry in club management page

Our campus has rolling affiliation deadlines, based on when groups hold elections. Due to this, groups are submitting affiliation forms throughout the year, and we do not have a single deadline. Sometimes, groups require extensions on their deadline, or need to have their deadline moved up due to noncompliance. We would like a way to manually edit a group’s affiliation expiry date, so we can set the time, day, month, and year. Right now, to set a group’s affiliation expiry, we have to go into the affiliation section of Clubs and set a general affiliation expiry date, which only allows us to choose a day and month, then manually unaffiliate and reaffiliate a club if we need to adjust their expiry. If the date is too close to today, it sets it for the following year, so we cannot give groups a single month extension; we have to give them a month and a year. This then impacts their ability to submit a registration form, as our union allows early affiliation submissions 2 months before expiry. We’ve already got a manual override within the affiliation form approval process, but this only helps us when we are approving that form. If circumstances change during the year, we need to be able to change their expiry date. It would be really helpful to be able to see and edit a group’s affiliation expiry date in the Club Management section so we can see it alongside other important information such as their last login, tags, etc.
